Our Name

Technology, Creativity & Values

The original inspiration for our name came from a lyric in a song by the Counting Crows.  The first line in the song is, "Certain Sundays in November...".  He refers to weather, the time of year and how it brings about emotion and memories.  November in Green Country to brings sites and smells that evoke memories and emotion. The weather turns cool and crisp, the leaves have changed color, and life slows down for just a moment before the Christmas Season begins.  The only thing more special than November in Green Country is the Sunday's that accompany it.  Our focus turns to God, family, football (on tv and in the backyard), good food and naps in the recliner.

When naming our company our goal was to create a unique professional name that fit well in a technology market and reflected our creativity and values. Andy MullinsFounder/Creative Director of NovSun

Married for 18 years to his wife Kristy and Father of 4 children, Andy's time away from work is filled with time at the lake and his kid's activities. The inspiration for the company's name came from his love of football, time with family and the fall season in Oklahoma. 

Andy has been in the design and marketing industry for over 20 years, helping businesses with marketing for both web and print. His current focus is brand management, helping start-ups and small businesses build their brand and turn their marketing budget into sales revenue.
